The next phase of treatment gets to the source of what’s keeping you from conceiving, often beginning with a diagnostic test called a hysterosalpingogram (HSG). This test allows Dr. Ensley to identify any abnormalities or blockages inside of the uterus and fallopian tubes, which may keep you from becoming pregnant. If further evaluation of the uterus and the endometrial lining is necessary, Dr. Ensley uses a minimally invasive laparoscopic procedure.

Dr. Ensley also uses the laparoscopic procedure to treat endometriosis that may be hindering your efforts to conceive. Once he determines that your uterus and tubes are functioning normally, you may benefit from prescription drug therapies that boost your reproductive cycle, helping you ovulate with greater regularity. In addition, Dr. Ensley can recommend tests for your significant other and make referrals.
